The Law Firm Majling & Ninčák s.r.o. was formed from the original Law Firm JUDr. Ján Majling, s.r.o. in 2013, with registered office on 14 Palárikova Street in Bratislava.

Our Team

Partners/Attorneys:

JUDr. Ján Majling, PhD.

After successful graduation from the Faculty of Law of the Comenius University in Bratislava in 2000, he started working in the legal field during his military service for the Ministry of Defence Bratislava, where he worked as a lawyer for the Military Authority for Legal Representation. In 2002 he successfully passed rigorous examination in Commercial Law and has been awarded the degree of Doctor of Laws with honours. From 2000, he was practicing as a junior associate and in 2003 he successfully passed the Bar exam. Since 2003, he has been registered as an attorney in the register of Slovak Bar Association. The main scope of activities of JUDr. Majling is provision of legal services in the field of civil, labour and commercial law, with regard to his extensive experience in these sectors. In 2012 he successfully passed the exam of bankruptcy trustee and since 2013 has been actively involved in operations and obligations of the bankruptcy trustee. In 2019 he successfully completed his tertiary education by obtaining a PhD. title.

JUDr. Ján Ninčák, MBA, PhD.

In 2006 he successfully graduated from the Faculty of Law of the P.J. Šafárik University. Until 2008 he worked as a corporate lawyer focusing on complex corporate and contractual agenda and receivables management. From 2009 to 2012 he worked as a junior associate with a focus on commercial law, where he significantly dealt with bankruptcy and restructuring law. In 2010 was registered in the register of bankruptcy trustees and since that year he has been successfully performed restructuring of several companies. He also participated in several restructuring as a professional consultant. As an attorney, he has been is registered in the register of the Slovak Bar Association since 2012. He completed his education by managerial title MBA in 2012 and obtained an academic degree PhD. in 2014. Due to his education and practical experience is JUDr. Ján Ninčák a specialist, particularly, in providing legal services in bankruptcy and restructuring.

Junior Associates:

Mgr. Natália Latková

Natália completed her Master’s studies at the Faculty of Law of the Comenius University in Bratislava in 2017 and is currently completing her education with an Engineer’s degree in Taxation and Tax Consulting at the Faculty of National Economy of the University of Economics in Bratislava. She started to gain experience as a Legal Assistant during her studies.

She is a Junior Associate registered with the Slovak Bar Association and provides legal services in Slovak and English language.

Since her graduation, Natália has been continuously active as a Junior Associate and she specializes in Commercial law, Civil law, Litigation practice and Debt Recovery in Civil courts and through Arbitration.

Mgr. Nino Rosenberg

He graduated Faculty of Law of the Pan-European University in Bratislava, where he completed his studies in 2015 and obtained the degree of Mgr. - Master of Laws. During his studies he completed the Erasmus program at the University of Leipzig, Germany. He started to gain experience during his studies as a Legal Assistant.

Since graduation, he has been a Junior Associate registered in the Slovak Bar Association and provides legal services in Slovak, English and German language, specializing in Real estate law, Contract law, Litigation, Bankruptcy and Restructuring.

Legal Administration

Work of the law firm team is assisted by staff consisting of legal assistants who, among other activities, cover the extensive legal administration of the law firm.

Legal Fees

Legal fees are governed by the Decree of the Ministry of Justice no. 655/2004 Coll.

It is possible to arrange following forms of fees at our law firm:

Tariff fee

Tariff fee shall be determined according to the real action while the amount of the single act of legal services is determined in accordance with the Decree by the value of the case or according to the agreement with client.

Fee per hour

Depending on the complexity of the case our law firm provides legal services at a cost of 60 euro per hour. The attorney charges a fee according to the hours actually carried out and submitted to the billing of the client, at his request, time specification of the work done.

Flat- rate fees

Attorney and client may agree on monthly flat-rate fee for providing complex legal service. This fee is paid monthly during certain time period determined in the Contract on Providing Legal Service. Within the monthly package, client has prepaid hours of providing legal advice and legal service, that is clearly more cost-effective compared to the standard fee per hour.

Contingent fee

Attorney and client may agree on contingent fee as a percentage (max. 20%) of the value of case in case of being successful in proceedings in front of courts or other relevant bodies. In case of partial success in the case, attorney is entitled to an aliquot of fees.

Flat- rate fee for arrangement

Attorney and client may agree on the flat-rate fee for arrangement for complete legal services within single legal case (e.g. establishment of a limited liability company).

Combined fee

The lawyer may also agree with the client on a combination of the above fees.
